Shogun Jumbo Oranda Selection Event

Personally select your next Jumbo Oranda from fish available at Shogun Farm.

From time to time, Kaiju Goldfish USA hosts a special selection event for collectors who want to choose their own Jumbo Orandas directly from farm videos. We coordinate the selection process, import the fish, and care for them through quarantine before arranging shipment to their owners.

Each event is limited to 3 to 5 participants.

Pricing and Participation

Participation requires a $50 nonrefundable commitment fee, which covers coordination with the farm and selection time. This fee is separate from your fish purchase and is not credited toward the purchase price.

Fish are $950 each, including shipping, with an approximate body length of 5 inches or larger. Payments are accepted through Zelle or Venmo only.

How It Works

1. Confirm your participation

Let us know how many fish you wish to purchase. Once your participation is confirmed, we will notify you of your assigned pick position.

2. Review the farm videos

Shogun Farm provides videos of the available fish. Review the videos and identify the fish you would be happy to purchase, keeping in mind that your first choice may not be available.

3. Submit your ranked screenshots

Send us a screenshot of each fish you are willing to purchase, ranked from your most preferred to least preferred:

Include additional ranked choices to give yourself more options if your favorites are taken. Also confirm the total number of fish you want to purchase.

4. We assign fish in rounds

Once everyone has submitted their ranked screenshots, we assign fish in rounds, following the established participant order.

When it is your turn, we assign the highest ranked fish on your list that is still available. For example, if Pick 1 is taken but Pick 2 is available, Pick 2 becomes yours. If both are taken, we continue down your list.

Each participant receives one available selection per round, up to their requested quantity. Each round is completed before the next begins, and the participant order stays the same in every round.

For participants purchasing multiple fish, we continue through their remaining ranked choices in subsequent rounds.

Only include fish you are willing to purchase. Any available fish on your list may become your confirmed selection. If none of your ranked choices are available, the commitment fee remains nonrefundable.

5. Complete payment

Once your fish are confirmed, full payment is due within 24 hours through Zelle or Venmo. Missing the payment deadline may result in losing your picks.

6. Import, quarantine, and shipping

We arrange shipment from the farm to the United States. After arrival, the fish remain with us for a standard two week quarantine, which may be extended for fish health and biosecurity.

If a fish does not successfully complete quarantine, the fish purchase and prepaid shipping will be refunded as outlined in the rules below. Shipping dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
